We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacherandnbsp;to work in Secondary schools across Aylesbury.

About the Role:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience is a plus)
- Teach across a range of DT specialisms, such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology, according to your expertise
- Ensure the safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materials within the classroom and workshop
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and create a focused learning environment
- Support students in developing practical skills alongside creative and critical thinking
- Work collaboratively with department colleagues to plan lessons and assess student progress
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Design and Technology
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level
- Effective classroom management and strong behaviour management skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety protocols in workshop and DT settings
- Possession of an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
