GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a caring and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery or Early Years classroom in Rotherham. This role as an EYP is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for early childhood education and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years.

Responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner :

• Supporting the learning and development of early aged children.
• Assisting with planning and delivering creative, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Promoting a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Monitoring progress and contributing to children''s learning journeys.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and carers to support individual needs.
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and communication skills.

Requirements for Early Years Practitioner:

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Essential).
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years classroom setting.
• A warm, nurturing, and patient personality.
• Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
