Groundworks Site Manager

Location: Cambridge
Rate: -300 per day
Contract: Long-Term
Start: Immediate

Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join a leading groundworks contractor on a long-term project based in Cambridge.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a large-scale residential groundworks package from the early stages through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all day-to-day groundworks operations on site

• Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and material deliveries

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

• Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections

• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager

• Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and quality control

• Liaising with clients, engineers and the wider project team

• Managing site documentation, permits and RAMS compliance

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Manager

• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, infrastructure and external works

• Experience working on residential developments

• SMSTS

• CSCS Card

• First Aid at Work

• Excellent leadership and communication skills
