An exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join a growing Chartered Building Contractor delivering projects across healthcare, education, commercial and heritage sectors. In this role, you will take ownership of the tender process from enquiry through to submission, preparing accurate estimates and working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to secure a varied portfolio of projects typically valued between -1m and -5m.

The ideal candidate will have previous estimating experience in a similar role, be proactive, detail driven, and take pride in your work. Willingness to work in an office with occasional site visits is essential.

The Role

• Manage tenders from enquiry through to submission and handover
• Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs and cost plans for projects up to -5m
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and assess quotations
• Support business growth by securing profitable, competitive tenders

The Person

• Previous experience within an Estimating or Pre-Construction role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings and specifications
• Organised, detail-focused and commercially aware
• Full UK Driving Licence
