*Design Manager - Berkshire (Hybrid)*
Our client, a well-established national contractor with an enviable reputation for delivering a variety of high-quality projects is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager.
Experienced individuals will be working on a hybrid basis leading the design process on a major residential scheme on the South Coast taking ownership of the design management process
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing design information throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Reviewing drawings and technical information for quality, buildability and compliance.
• Chairing design meetings and proactively resolving technical and design-related issues.
• Managing design programmes to ensure information is delivered in line with project requirements.
• Overseeing design trackers, approvals and project documentation.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.

We''re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead the design process on complex construction projects.
You''ll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager working for a main contractor, although candidates from a developer background are also encouraged to apply.
• A construction-related qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• A strong understanding of construction processes, technical design, building regulations and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple design packages while driving programmes and resolving technical challenges.
