Senior ATE Engineer Cambourne Inside IR35 Contract Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior ATE Engineer to join an innovative RandD engineering team developing advanced connected technology products. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role, responsible for the development, deployment and lifecycle ownership of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) across a product line. You ll work across hardware, software, instrumentation, embedded systems and manufacturing, helping to take test solutions from initial concept through to production deployment and ongoing optimisation. The Role As a Senior ATE Engineer, you will: +Lead the architecture, development, validation and deployment of ATE systems. +Own the technical roadmap for test equipment, ensuring solutions are maintainable, scalable and aligned with production requirements. +Define tester requirements, test strategies, integration plans, acceptance criteria and production transfer documentation. Lead tester bring-up and integration across mechanical, electronic, embedded software, instrumentation, fixtures and production interfaces. +Manage ATE projects from requirements and design through to deployment, including planning, risk management, design reviews and stakeholder communication. +Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout the ATE lifecycle. +Support production environments with troubleshooting, calibration, failure analysis, reliability ..... full job details .....
