Operations Manager
to join our centre.Responsibilities
Supervising and managing staff: scheduling, training, performance management, and potentially hiring/firing decisions.Maintaining ice surface and equipment: ensuring the ice is in optimal condition for skating and managing repairs or maintenance of related equipment.Facility management: overseeing upkeep of the ice rink facility, including public areas, changing rooms, and other amenities.Customer service: addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for rink users.Safety and compliance: implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Inventory and supply management: monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing related expenses.Financial management: assisting with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.Strategic planning and operational improvements: working with the General Manager to implement new initiatives, improve efficiency, and achieve operational goals.Record keeping: maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and operational performance.What You’ll Need To Do The Role
Previous experience as an Operations Manager or similar within leisure, with the ability to implement the strategy devised by the Oxford Senior Management team underpinning good decisions that maximize effectiveness.Proven experience using influencing processes to build commitment to changes required for long-term outcomes; identifying, building, and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term relationships internally and externally to deliver business success.Ability to simplify complex situations and data and identify key issues.If you feel you meet the above criteria and are looking for a new challenge, please apply at your convenience.Why Join Us
