Data and Analytics Analyst
Manpower are currently seeking an interim Data andamp; Analytics Analyst to work with our global FMCG client The Magnum Ice Cream Company, renowned for brands such as Magnum, Ben andamp; Jerry''s, Cornetto and Wall''s, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 6 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive paying up to £52,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Data andamp; Analytics Analyst - Wholesaler Sales
We''re looking for a Data andamp; Analytics Analyst to unlock the value of wholesaler and customer sales data across Magnum''s UK business.
You will play a critical role in connecting multiple wholesaler data sources, working with Databricks and pipelines and transforming raw sales data into clear, actionable insights. This includes enabling visibility on sell-in, sell-out, distribution, range, and performance across wholesale partners.
You will work closely with data engineers to ensure data is ingested, structured, and ready for analysis, while acting as a Power BI super user to deliver dashboards that drive commercial decisions across sales, account management, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Connect andamp; Integrate Wholesaler Data
- Connect and visualise multiple wholesaler sales data sources (including but not limited to EPOS, shipment/sell-in, CRM, partner data)
- Work with Databricks to query, review and report on large-scale sales datasets
- Connect to and leverage data pipelines to access reliable, up-to-date wholesaler data
- Partner with data engineers to onboard new wholesale partners and data feeds
- Ensure consistent, accurate mapping of SKU, customer and channel data
Data Ingestion andamp; Pipeline Collaboration
- Support and advise on data ingestion processes for wholesaler and partner data to ensure you have the information required for reporting usage
- Validate and sense-check incoming data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Help ensure data pipelines deliver timely, structured, analysis-ready datasets
Data Visualisation andamp; Commercial Insights
- Act as a Power BI super user, building dashboards focused on wholesale performance and sales performance
- Deliver reporting on key commercial metrics (e.g. sales trends, distribution, range compliance, customer performance)
- Create intuitive data visualisations for sales and account teams
- Translate complex sales data into clear insights and actions
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards to meet business needs
- Identify opportunities to utilise new technology to present data in the best way
- Strong commercial experience designing and implementing Power BI solutions.
- Proven expertise in data modelling, data transformation and report development.
- Experience creating dashboards, data visualisations and management information reporting.
- Strong understanding of KPI and OKR reporting frameworks
- Enable self-serve analytics for commercial teams
