Marketing & Corporate Communications Specialist (6-month FTC)

Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Marketing and Corporate Communications Specialist to join us on a 6-month fixed-term-contract basis.Note: This is a 6 month fixed-term-contract position; this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Responsibilities
This role supports the Corporate Communications, Brand and Marketing Manager in delivering strategic communications, brand initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and operational coordination across the Bank and Group. The postholder will assist in executing campaigns, managing content, coordinating events, and ensuring consistent messaging across internal and external platforms.Key Responsibilities
Brand and Creative Support
Assist in the development and rollout of branded assets, templates, and RFPs.Support creative execution across presentations, merchandise, and digital channels.Ensure brand consistency across all communications and materials.
Campaign and Partnership Activation
Coordinate campaign logistics and content delivery for strategic partnerships and engagement campaigns.
Consumer Duty and Testing
Ensure customer communications meet Consumer Duty standards.Coordinate with departments for timely completion of testing and oversight activities.Support thematic reviews and escalate findings to the CCBM Manager.Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to align communications with regulatory expectations.
Digital Platforms
Contribute to website, intranet, and social media platforms—including LinkedIn—by supporting content development, stakeholder engagement, and brand alignment.Support the Bank’s social media presence by drafting, scheduling, and monitoring posts that reflect the Bank’s values, promote transparency, and support customer understanding in line with Consumer Duty.
Internal Engagement and Events
Coordinate and support a variety of internal employee engagement event initiatives to promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture, encourage cross-departmental networking, and celebrate team achievements.
General Communications Support
Draft and edit internal and external communications.Maintain content calendars and assist with social media scheduling.Monitor LinkedIn engagement metrics and audience feedback to inform content strategy and improve reach and relevance.Ensure all external communications, including LinkedIn posts, are compliant with regulatory standards and reflect the Bank’s commitment to fair customer outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong experience within communications.Previous experience within Banking/Financial Services is desirable.Experience in and/or knowledge of Consumer Duty would be advantageous.Familiarity with campaign coordination and event planning.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and creative platforms such as Canva.Experienced in managing digital content, overseeing website administration, and conducting design evaluations.Strong written and verbal communication.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and discretion.In return we offer a fantastic benefits package including
