Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Anderselite are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a commercial facilities management business in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical systems across a range of commercial properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency with other aspects of maintenance/service on mechanical systems when required namely AC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and emergency systems.
andbull; Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and cost-effective manner.
andbull; Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
andbull; Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health andamp; safety standards.
andbull; Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other engineers to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
andbull; Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
andbull; Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals.

Requirements:
andbull; NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
andbull; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
andbull; Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance.
andbull; Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
andbull; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
andbull; Good communication and teamwork skills.
andbull; Full UK driving licence
andbull; ECS/CSCS card (preferred).

Desirable:
andbull; Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
andbull; PAT Testing qualification.
andbull; Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
andbull; IPAF or PASMA certification.
