Based at our brand-new facility near Burnley, we are looking to strengthen our team with the addition of an Electrical Design Engineer This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday. Standard 40 hours a week and the salary is dependent upon experience. Core Responsibilities Review and interpret customer specifications to be applied to production machinery orders Design and preparation of electrical schematics / safety circuits and supporting manufacturing drawings using EPLAN Electric P8 / EPLAN Pro Panel Prepare and maintain accurate bills of material with direction from the engineering team Co-ordinate and communicate with the shop floor manufacturing to ensure drawings are maintained and delivered with the machinery error free Implement Engineering Changes accurately within required timescales Contribute to new product design, reducing costs and lead times by investigating and implementing new design techniques and manufacturing processes with a focus on utilising tools available from EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel Potential to travel to customer sites and support the installation, commissioning and maintenance Participate and lead continuous improvement activities Communicate effectively when it comes to potential training needs and your own personal development What are we looking for?
