Senior Town Planner - Stratford-upon-Avon

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly respected planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their Stratford-upon-Avon team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planner looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of projects.

The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will:

• Lead on the preparation and management of planning applications, appeals, and appraisals.

• Prepare detailed planning statements, development plan representations, and evidence for hearings and inquiries.

• Manage client relationships and provide clear, commercially focused planning advice.

• Support and mentor junior colleagues, helping to develop the team''s future talent.

• Work on a wide range of exciting projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• An RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (or related subject).

• MRTPI Chartered membership (essential).

• 3-6 years'' post-qualification experience in a consultancy or similar environment.

• Excellent project management and report-writing skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.

• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
