Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Manager will lead operations, manufacturing and organisational systems through their next stage of growth. Metacarpal are a multi-award winning RandD company that has developed the world''s first mechanical bionic hand. What makes them unique compared to competitors is that they have designed a bionic hand that is entirely powered and controlled through body motion. This means no electronics. This point of difference is a strong asset, as they can offer greater functionality, reliability and robustness at a lower cost and weight. Prior to launching their product into production last year, they tested their prototypes with potential customers internationally and received glowing feedback. They have ambitious growth plans to expand quickly across UK, US and then the rest of the world.
