Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next opportunity? A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a talented and driven Management Accountant. Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting accurate monthly management accounts for the business and its subsidiary.
• Ensuring compliance with purchasing and payment procedures.
• Supporting the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies.
• Overseeing junior finance staff as required.
• Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports.
• Assisting in financial and stock audits.
• Performing bank account and wages reconciliations.
• Supporting credit control and payroll functions.
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and monthly VAT returns.
• Contributing to the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Providing financial support to the subsidiary business.
• Supporting the Senior Management Team in the absence of the Finance Director.
• Handling ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Expectations in the role

• All financial reporting is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts.
• Monthly reconciliation of all ledgers.
• Timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Prompt escalation of discrepancies to the Finance Director.
• Part Qualified - AAT, ACCA or CIMA required for role

The experienced Management Accountant must have experience in process improvements, streamlines processes and happy to challenge when needed in the role.
