Revive Recruitment-is delighted to be partnering with a warm, nurturing and child-centred nursery in-RG1, Reading, to recruit an experienced and passionate-Room Leader.-Essential Requirement:-Applicants-must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education. You will lead your room with confidence, supporting your team to provide high-quality learning experiences that encourage children''s independence, curiosity and development.
About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will create a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. You will lead your team by example, ensuring high standards of care, learning and safeguarding while building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners within your room.
- Create and maintain a high-quality learning environment.
- Plan engaging, child-led learning opportunities that support each child''s individual development.
- Monitor children''s progress and complete accurate observations and assessments.
- Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers through regular communication.
- Support children''s independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
- Mentor and support colleagues, promoting continuous professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to maintain excellent standards across the setting.
About You
You will have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential).
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Knowledge of, or an interest in, the Montessori approach.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- A warm, caring and positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to become confident, independent learners.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
