We''re recruiting an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join our team in Basildon, carrying out repairs, maintenance and void works across social housing properties throughout Essex. About the Role Working to deliver the highest quality service, you''ll carry out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties. Duties will include a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work such as minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting within a social housing setting. You''ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to deliver an excellent customer experience. Please note that participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota is required. There is no regular weekend working associated with this role. About You We''re looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter / Joiner who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You''ll be confident working independently, following drawings and instructions, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
