Security Officer Permanent Ofsted Good College in Northamptonshire Salary: £25,625 per annum Location: Northamptonshire Contract: Permanent, Full Time 4 days on, 4 days off rolling rota, 12-hour shifts (days/nights). (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am) About the Role: Join a supportive and dedicated Estates Support team at an Ofsted Good college in Northamptonshire. As a Security Officer, you ll play a key role in ensuring the security, safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors across campus. You ll provide a visible, proactive presence, engaging positively with the college community while managing incidents, CCTV monitoring, and access control. Key Responsibilities: Patrolling buildings and grounds to deter and detect issues Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems Managing access for staff, students, visitors and contractors Responding to incidents, including fire alarms, first aid and safeguarding concerns Providing a professional front-of-house service, including ID checks and visitor management Acting as backup for the Student Welfare team, with a focus on mental health first aid Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of young people in all aspects of college life What We re Looking For: Valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence (Essential) SIA CCTV licence (Desirable training can be provided) Full driving licence with fewer than 6 points Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexibly on a rotating shift pattern, ..... full job details .....
