This is a varied, hands-on role combining trade counter sales, customer service, warehouse operations and branch support within a busy merchant environment.This opportunity would suit candidates from a plumbing merchant, builders merchant, heating merchant, HVAC merchant or trade counter background who enjoy a fast-paced environment and working closely with trade customers.The Role Serving trade customers on the counter and over the phoneProcessing orders, quotations and customer enquiriesPicking and packing customer orders accuratelyGoods inwards, stock handling and putting stock awayLoading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlySupporting the warehouse and wider branch team as requiredAssisting with stock control and maintaining a clean, organised branchBuilding strong relationships with new and existing customersSupporting deliveries when required Experience Required Previous experience within a trade counter, warehouse or merchant sales environmentBackground within plumbing, heating, pipeline, HVAC, builders merchant or industrial supplies preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable working in a warehouse and trade counter environmentPhysically capable of manual handling and ..... full job details .....
