Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be working Pittman rotating 12-hour shifts within our retail production facility:Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved.Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing machines.Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs and improvements.Generate and complete work orders on the CMMS.Help develop and implement effective PM schedules.Support and achieve the engineering KPI''s.What you will need to succeedWorked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - ideally FMCG automation / packaging.Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of engineering.Qualifications: HND, HNC, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills.Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.What you will receive in return:CompetitivePitman Shift 12 hour rotating shiftCompany pension 6% employer contribution18 days holiday + lieu days for Statutory HolidaysCompany sick pay4 x Death in Service 25 towards eye test and 90 contribution to glasses.Long service recognitionWellbeing initiatives - 25 towards eye tests, 90 contribution to prescription lenses, free legal and financial helpline and mental health support, virtual GP.What you need ..... full job details .....
