Nursery Practitioner Job Type: Full-time Location: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £14.50 - £17.00 per hour Join a nurturing and innovative team as a Nursery Practitioner in a private nursery setting. Day-to-day of the role: Engage children in activities that encourage learning and development. Monitor and support the learning of the children, including observing, assessing, and recording their progress. Ensure the health and safety of children at all times. Assist with meal times and routines. Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their children''s day and development. Maintain a clean and safe environment for children. Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and coordinate activities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Must hold at least a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its application in learning activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
