Repairs Scheduler

We are recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join a busy Local Authority Housing & Repairs service.

You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day repairs, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and residents receive a responsive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs to operatives and contractors.
• Arrange and manage appointments with residents.
• Monitor outstanding repairs and follow up on delayed jobs.
• Deal with cancellations, changes and urgent repair requests.
• Update repairs and scheduling systems accurately.
• Liaise with operatives, contractors and internal teams to resolve scheduling issues.
• Ensure repairs are completed within required timescales.

About You

• Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, Repairs Coordinator or similar.
• Essential experience working within a maintenance/repairs environment.
• Local authority, housing association, social housing or property maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisation, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and changing priorities.
