We are seeking an experienced and organised Accounts and Operations Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a varied role combining accounting responsibilities with day-to-day operational and office support. The Role Working closely with the Group Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Preparing and posting month-end journals, accruals and prepayments. Supporting financial reporting and Excel data analysis. Processing petty cash and assisting with audit requirements. Checking daily and monthly sales data and preparing tenant recharges. Supporting payroll administration, including timesheets, absences and missed clockings. Reviewing import invoices, Bills of Lading and customs documentation. Managing office supplies, consumables and shared inboxes. Supporting office facilities and coordinating fire safety procedures. About You You will have previous experience within an accounts or finance environment, with a strong eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. You should have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar accounting system. Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. A good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to handle confidential financial and employee information with discretion. Confident communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues, tenants and external partners.
