A respected independent accountancy practice in South Birmingham is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to support its growing client portfolio. The firm offers a friendly, supportive environment with excellent exposure to a varied range of clients and assignments.

Your new role

You will work on a mix of accounts preparation and audit assignments for clients across different industries. Responsibilities will include preparing statutory accounts for businesses ranging in size, assisting with audit engagements and supporting managers in delivering high-quality client service. You will also have direct client contact and the opportunity to broaden your technical skills.

What you''ll need to succeed

You will have previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment and gaining both experience preparing accounts and working on audits. You may be AAT qualified, or an ACA/ACCA studier progressing well with exams. Additionally, you''ll be a confident communicator able to work well with others and meet deadlines and will be adept at using a range of accountancy software.
