HGV TechnicianUp to 21 per hour DOETamworthMonday to Friday, 47.5 hours per weekPermanentWe''re looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our busy, workshop-based team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company, maintaining both our own fleet and vehicles from external clients.Key Responsibilities:Maintain, inspect, repair, and test HGV vehicles and plant equipment to DfT and VOSA standardsPrepare and present vehicles for MOT inspectionsPerform regular safety inspections and fault diagnosis (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems)Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairsFit and remove ancillary equipment, accessories, and liveryPrepare and decommission vehicles as requiredComplete all paperwork accurately and update workshop systemsEnsure all Health and Safety procedures are followedKeep work areas clean, safe, and organisedAttend relevant training courses as requiredCarry out any additional duties relevant to the roleWhat We''re Looking For:Relevant mechanical qualifications and experienceStrong problem-solving and practical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and attention to detailReliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of customer careKnowledge of workshop Health and Safety standardsBenefitsMon-Friday (Flexi hours)Up to 21ph DOE29 days holiday + bank holidayContact Jodie Hodgson at Birmingham Pertemps, Hagley Road for more information. ..... full job details .....
