Automotive Technical Account Manager UK-wide Home-based with regular travel Permanent 55k+ This is not a junior sales role and not an order-taker position. This role sits at the intersection of technical consultancy and strategic account management, selling engineered, specification-led solutions into automotive OEM and Tier 1/2 environments. Long sales cycles. High validation standards. Senior stakeholders only. If you cannot handle technical depth, autonomy, and commercial accountability, stop reading. The Role You will own and grow a defined portfolio of automotive OEM and Tier 1/2 accounts, while driving new business across the automotive and EV sector. You are expected to operate independently, manage complex stakeholders, and materially impact revenue and product strategy. Key Responsibilities Own and expand a UK-wide portfolio of automotive OEM and Tier 1/2 accounts Identify, qualify, and close new business within automotive and EV markets Execute structured account and territory plans aligned to revenue targets Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract close Act as a technical advisor on engineered sealing solutions and materials Support customers through design-in, validation, testing, and ramp-up Deliver technical presentations to engineering and procurement teams Conduct regular on-site visits to uncover growth opportunities Track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback Feed structured insight into product development and portfolio ..... full job details .....
