It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThis Senior Manager will be report to the Director, Procurement – Global Sourcing and will partner with Senior Stakeholders in the QSC, RandD, Finance and Product Category team as well as local Procurement teams to support the delivery the BU strategic objectives and drive growth.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and implement a sourcing strategy for the Silicas and Cellulose categories (-£70M annual spend) spread across geographies and mix of internal sites and CMOs to deliver onFinancialBuild and deliver a pipeline of initiatives to meet our cost reduction ambition of net -4% YoYDeliver best in class working capital benefits by driving payment terms of >90 days and inventory strategies of Consignment stock and VMI across the vendorsRisk ManagementImplement derisking program by dual sourcing as well as regional derisking in response to evolving Geopolitical situationLead team and partner with supplier and sites to ensure security of supply of the categories in scope across the supply networkProcurement fundamentalsDriving category strategies and delivering balanced scorecard besides financials on Quality, logistic, sustainability, environmental/regulatory compliance aligned with QSC Objectives.Regular communication and partnership with key stakeholders for constant update of Procurement strategy as well as changing business requirementHands on management of portfolio of key commodities creating and delivering on the strategies to deliver on all expected performance parameters YOY cost reduction, inventory, derisking etcQualifications and skillsEssentialCollaborating and executing cross-function/region/BU to understand, input and accelerate strategic plans10+ years’ experience in Direct procurement or strategic sourcing or strategic relationship management with strong negotiation experienceFamiliar with Consumer Health IndustryLeadership/communication skillsProduce robust contracts in line with business, legal and commercial requirementsEnglish proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plusPreferred· Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business management, supply chain or scientific discipline · Ingredients sourcing experience · Experience in Consumer Healthcare and more specifically OTC, Oral Health and/or wellness. · CIPS or any relevant certification.
