Location: St Helens (Rainford)
Salary: -28,000 - -30,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Fully Office-Based
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator or Financial Services Administrator to join a busy and professional wealth management environment in St Helens.
This role is ideally suited to someone with previous experience supporting Financial Advisers or working within financial services administration who is looking to further develop their career within a client-focused and highly regulated sector.
The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you will provide comprehensive support to Financial Advisers, ensuring the smooth processing of new business, ongoing client servicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and providers while delivering a high standard of administrative support across pensions, investments, protection and savings products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new business applications across pensions, investments, protection and savings products.
- Liaise with providers, clients and advisers to ensure cases progress efficiently.
- Process letters of authority, transfers and ongoing servicing requests.
- Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
- Prepare client documentation, review packs and correspondence.
- Arrange client meetings and manage adviser diaries.
- Support annual reviews and ongoing client service activities.
- Complete AML and compliance checks, ensuring FCA and GDPR requirements are met.
- Assist advisers with meeting preparation and administrative follow-up.
- Monitor workflows and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience as an IFA Administrator, or significant experience within Financial Services Administration
- Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Professional communication and client service skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
Desirable
- Previous experience within an Independent Financial Adviser practice
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements
- Experience using systems such as Intelligent Office, FE Analytics or Defaqto
- Financial services qualifications, or an interest in working towards CII qualifications
