We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our growing team, covering Essex and London. This role involves the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and small works on a wide range of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently

• Complete small installation and commissioning works as required

• Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and regulations (e.g. BS 5839)

• Accurately complete job reports and documentation

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships

• Participate in on-call rota (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with fire alarm systems

• Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations

• Ability to fault-find and problem-solve independently

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• FIA qualifications or equivalent (desirable)

• Experience with systems such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, or similar (advantageous)
