Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher include:

• Create and maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive leaning environment for pupils with SEN
• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual needs of pupils
• Monitor, asses and record pupils progress and development
• Work collaboratively with the schools staff/team to ensure the best outcome for every pupil

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to complete relevant training when required
