SEN Teacher

Location: Birmingham
Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher include:
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive leaning environment for pupils with SEN
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual needs of pupils
- Monitor, asses and record pupils progress and development
- Work collaboratively with the schools staff/team to ensure the best outcome for every pupil
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
- A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to complete relevant training when required
