Production Operative

A growing food manufacturer is seeking a Production Operative to join a team where quality, safety and continuous improvement genuinely matter. This is a hands-on role, involving you in the full production process through to packing. You ll have experience in a similar role, and in return the position offers hands-on training, clear standards to work to, and the opportunity to support the area leader.Shift Pattern- 4 on 4 off days and nightsWhat You Will Do:- Maintain a safe, hazard-free working area and follow risk-assessed procedures every shift.- Support quality standards by following work instructions, escalating issues early, and helping achieve "right first time".- Keep high hygiene levels by following clean-as-you-go practices and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).- Complete tasks requested by the Area Owner or Shift Leader, including preparation of areas on the line and break relief cover.- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting out-of-spec root cause analysis and suggesting practical enhancements to improve safety, quality, performance and reduce waste.- Record information accurately and communicate clearly during shift changeover to keep operations running smoothly.
