QS required for Construction business based in Liverpool A well-established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region.The business operates across commercial construction, and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clientsThe RoleFull commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final accountPreparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reportingProcurement and commercial management of subcontractor packagesValuations, variations and change controlFinal account preparation and negotiationWorking closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performanceEnsuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirementsThe CandidateProven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property servicesStrong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reportingJCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)Commercially astute with a proactive approachConfident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersDegree-qualified or equivalent industry experience preferredThis role would suit a QS looking for a long-term position within a well-run, privately owned construction and property services organisation offering exposure to varied and interesting ..... full job details .....
