Mechanical Project Manager

We''re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a design & build contractor in Manchester that''s experiencing strong and sustained growth.

You''ll oversee multiple projects simultaneously - typically around five at any one time - ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position that involves managing subcontract labour, maintaining client relationships, and driving project profitability.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple commercial and industrial mechanical installations

• Oversee planning, delivery, and financial performance across live projects

• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and compliance on-site

• Take ownership of project budgets, procurement, and client variations

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

• Total salary: -66,000 - -86,000

• Bonus: -10,000 to -20,000 (linked to gross profit performance)

• Base salary: -50,000 - -60,000

• Car allowance: -6,000 per annum

• 33 days'' holiday (including bank holidays)
