The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain''s leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
This role provides specialist support to Oncology and Haematology patients and requires coverage of a flexible shift pattern on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within your area of specialism, acting as a clinical expert and role model.
Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols based on national guidelines and best practice.
Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and families, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.
Act as a key contact for patients, ensuring consistent, coordinated care throughout their treatment journey.
Signpost to additional services and resources to support holistic care.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualification or recognised specialist training in the relevant clinical area.
Non-medical prescribing qualification (if applicable to role).
Experience in audit, service improvement, or clinical leadership.
Teaching or mentorship qualification.
