Job Title Civil Technical Engineering Manager - Ancillary Works Location: London or Bristol (hybrid working), with regular travel to the Sizewell C site in Suffolk Contract: Inside IR35, ongoing Closing Date: 17 February 2026 Job Purpose / Overview The Engineering and Technical (EandT) function is a fundamental part of the Civil Works Programme, responsible for defining and assuring the design, engineering, and technical requirements across the project. The team leads the full lifecycle of design delivery-from requirements definition through to final acceptance-while managing budgets, resources, and supply chain interfaces. It also ensures constructability and effective design coordination across Civil Works, Site Establishment, and Off-Site Infrastructure. As Civil Technical Engineering Manager - Ancillary Works, you will support the definition and validation of technical requirements and specifications, working closely with the Sizewell C Design Delivery Management (DDM) team and Nuclear Services. Strong technical leadership is required to manage technical open points and design changes in line with governance processes, including PCP, TDF, NCC, and Replication Principles. You will contribute to Design Technical Assurance across the full project lifecycle, enabling acceptance through structured reviews and approvals defined within surveillance plans.
