The department comprises RE, History and Geography at key stages 3 and 4, and RE, Criminology, Law, Psychology and Sociology in the sixth form. The vision of the department in developing the curriculum has been recognised by the Bernice McCabe award for curriculum design and the Princes Teaching Institute centre of excellence quality mark. The Directorate is at the forefront of the Academy''s co-curricular offer and runs a wide range of trips to enhance student understanding of individual subjects, as well as improve students'' life experiences.The RoleWe are looking for an RE teacher who: has excellent subject knowledge in Religious Education at all key stages is experienced in teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 is an enthusiastic teacher and able to engage and motivate pupils to reach beyond their potential ..... full job details .....
