Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Assistant (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Salary: £32,000 per annum (pro rata) Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Benefits: Hybrid working, On-site car parking available The Role We are looking for an experienced and organised Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident using Sage Intacct. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of both the purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match, batch and code invoices. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare payment runs in line with payment schedules. Respond to supplier queries professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate supplier records. Accounts Receivable Raise and process customer invoices. Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
