Technical Manager Location: Essex (Office-Based with Travel to London Projects and 2 days wfh) Salary: £75,000 £85,000 + Package Overview A leading developer is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee fire safety, façade remediation, and complex projects across London. Based from the Essex office, you will act as the key link between design, compliance, and delivery teams, ensuring all works meet regulatory and fire safety standards. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership and Compliance Lead technical oversight on fire safety, cladding, façade and remediation works. Ensure full compliance with Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and relevant fire standards. Review specialist reports, surveys, design proposals, and engineering documentation. Maintain the Golden Thread of information and support production of Safety Case and handover files. Design Coordination Coordinate design information between consultants, contractors, fire engineers and façade specialists. Review and approve design packages, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment. Support procurement through technical review of subcontractor bids and proposals. Chair technical and design coordination meetings. Project and Stakeholder Support Work with project managers to ensure technical requirements align with programme and buildability.
