Finance Assistant
Hertford

• £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
• Mon–Fri, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Office-based

We’re looking for a capable and proactive Finance Assistant to join a busy team in Hertford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with a management team across multiple divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and loading supplier invoices onto the system
• Coding costs and working with cost centres
• Preparing reports for the management team
• Resolving queries and investigating errors
• Supporting a diverse business with different divisions and activities

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a finance/accounts role (property sector experience an advantage)
• AAT qualifications (or working towards) would be beneficial
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• A confident communicator who can use their initiative
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
