This role involves assessing the needs of service users, ensuring their care and support are well-coordinated, and advocating for their rights and choices, all while adhering to relevant legislation and best practice guidelines. Key Responsibilities:In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, and other relevant legislation.Understanding of person-centred approaches and how to implement them in practice.Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.Essential Criteria:Qualification: Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work).SWE RegistrationExperience: Experience working with adults with mental health issues, ideally in a community or clinical setting.Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.Personal qualities: Compassionate, resilient, and committed to working with vulnerable individuals.
