My client is a leading consultancy firm specialising in cutting-edge building services solutions across the UK and the Middle East. Their diverse portfolio includes projects in commercial, residential, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. Role Overview:
They''re seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model, with 3 days office and 2 days working from home. As a key member of their engineering team, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems that integrate seamlessly into their clients buildings, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for a variety of building types.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions.
- Prepare detailed design specifications, calculations, and reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor progress and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into your designs where appropriate.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years'' experience in mechanical design engineering within the building services industry.
- Some experience in client-facing with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and international building codes and standards.
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
- Professional membership with CIBSE or equivalent is a plus.
