We are looking for a Qualified Teacher of Chemistry to provide daily supply cover for a variety of schools in Maidstone, Kent, from 1st September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chemistry teacher looking for the flexibility of daily supply, while working within a well-established and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will primarily teach Chemistry, with some Biology, and should be confident stepping into lessons and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The role will run from 1st September until 23rd October 2026, with the potential to extend further beyond this period.

Daily Rate: -130140 per day, depending on experience.

• Previous secondary Chemistry/Biology teaching experience - essential
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Confident teaching Chemistry, with some Biology
• Able to quickly adapt to different classes and learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passionate about engaging students and developing their interest in Science
• Reliable, flexible and confident working across a secondary school environment
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Chemistry and Biology lessons
• Follow existing lesson plans and school expectations
• Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Adapt teaching approaches to support different learners
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
• Provide support and feedback to students where appropriate
• Work professionally alongside teaching staff and contribute positively to the school
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct.
