Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client with the Defence sector, who are seeking a Supply Chain Management Lead on an initial 18 month assignment in Reading. Top essential criteria: 1. Experience of end-to-end tendering process 2. Understanding of training, and manual creation 3. Knowledge of public contract regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023 Essential: Experience of end-to-end tendering process stakeholder management Managing contract management plans Knowledge of supply chain processes Supply chain management Procurement Strategies Monitoring, mentoring, and training staff o No direct line management - some task management Will be involved in future training on process, systems, and workflows withing AWE. Escalation resolving - will be POC for escalations in event team. Management of contract performance Experience of using JAGGAER, or Ariba would be acceptable. Team collaborator Understand what is changing, what measures to put in place, be prepared and support the team. Security Clearance: SC level vetting required for the assignment.
