Shorterm group are currently working with an executive jet MRO, chartering and purchasing company. We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Aircraft Purchaser to join my client''s procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring new and pre-owned aircraft, negotiating purchase agreements, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong supplier relationships, and expertise in aircraft valuation and market trends to support fleet expansion and optimization.Key Responsibilities: Experience in sourcing Bombardier Challenger/Global aircraft; Leonardo 109/155 purchasing experience is an advantage. Established contacts and knowledge of aircraft part-out/breaking locations. Identify and evaluate aircraft purchase opportunities based on company needs, budget, and market availability. Ability to locate rare and off-market parts beyond traditional platforms like PartsBase/ILS. Prepare complex Excel-based quotes detailing assembly and part breakdowns. Negotiate purchase agreements, lease contracts, and financing options with manufacturers, brokers, and sellers. Conduct due diligence, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks to ensure seamless acquisitions. Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
