The successful applicant will support both strategic and operational finance activity, gaining valuable insight into the breadth and complexity of financial management in a district setting. The role will support the Head of Finance and Property with the day-to-day management of the finance service, including financial management, reporting, budget preparation, annual closedown and the production of accounting statements. The role will also provide financial advice and support to a range of Council services, elected Members and external stakeholders, including external auditors.
