Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its team, offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes while taking ownership of design delivery and contributing to the success of a multidisciplinary engineering practice.
You will lead structural design packages, carry out and review complex calculations, and develop practical, sustainable solutions across a diverse project portfolio. Alongside coordinating technical deliverables and supporting project proposals, you will collaborate with other disciplines, build strong working relationships and help mentor junior engineers.
The ideal candidate will be Chartered with IStructE or ICE, with extensive structural design experience across steel, concrete, timber and masonry. A strong grasp of UK design standards, CDM requirements and structural analysis software is essential. Experience in sectors such as defence, aviation, power or custodial would be particularly valuable.
