Field Service Engineer (Water Treatment)
South Central England - Ideally based around Basingstoke, Reading or Oxford
-35,000 - -45,000 + Profit-Related Bonus + Company Vehicle + Healthcare Plan + Benefits
A specialist water treatment engineering business is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South Central region. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer looking to work on a wide range of industrial water treatment systems across sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and aerospace.
The role offers a mixture of servicing, maintenance, commissioning and technical support, with excellent long-term career prospects within a growing organisation.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair water treatment systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Water Softeners, Filtration and Effluent Treatment Plant
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and technical support both on-site and remotely
- Complete installation and commissioning activities where required
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of technical support
- Produce service reports and associated documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high safety standards
The Candidate
- Multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer with relevant engineering qualifications
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or technical support engineer
- Experience within water treatment would be advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
