The Cleaning, maintenance, and servicing of all types of tanks is an integral part of the business.We are looking for a highly motivated HGV Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years proven experience of vehicle repair and maintenance of heavy good vehicles to join our team based in Barry, South Wales. Duties include: Carrying out scheduled inspections, services and necessary repairs on a fleet of vehicles, trailers and equipment to DVSA Standards. Ordering spare parts to ensure the most cost effective method of repair. Ensuring the vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum and that repair standards are met. Reporting and investigating persistent technical problems noted in repair work. Liaising with the Garage Manager and customers regarding vehicle availability before and after the repair. Maintaining garage cleanliness and disposing of materials in accordance with the companies environmental policies. To prepare vehicles and trailers for M.O.T and ADR tests.
