Bedfordshire, Birmingham, Buckinghamshire, East Midlands, Midlands, Milton Keynes We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing a variety of civil/Highway engineering sectors with a primary focus of Highway based projects. Role will be based inMidlands.

Duties:

To ensure Health and Safety are of paramount importanceSetting out (marking the position of structures) and levelling the siteSurveying the siteChecking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the workHelping with the selection and purchase of materials for use in the construction and their valueLiaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the projectOverseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are up keptResolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may occurQuality AssuranceDevelopment of strong team working relationshipsCost risk management and early identification of problematic issues on siteBring innovative ideasThe experience we’re looking for in a candidate

Time proven experience as a site engineer / setting our engineer.An industry applicable qualificationExperience of FRC works and drainage is preferableWorking knowledge of CAD would be favourableWorking knowledge of Microsoft packagesSelf-motivatedBe able to organise yourselfBe able to work in a strong team environmentBe proactive in your approachAn excellent communicatorA high level of diplomacy and customer focusedThis a PERMANENT role so please apply accordingly.
