Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitising bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Changing bed linen and making beds.
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
- Reporting maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department.
- Following infection control, health and safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Skills and Requirements:
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Understanding of health, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not always essential.
