Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer in the Bristol and the North Somerset area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and career minded Site Engineer to join an established and forward-thinking company that offers a supportive environment working across a variety of civil engineering projects As Site Engineer you will: Have experience of setting out using robotic total stations on civil engineering schemes. Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working site. Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations. Have experience of GPS, machine control plant etc Our client requires a Site Engineer with: Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations/GPS and/or machine control A good understating of construction health and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
